Mid War Tournament
On Friday, the NOVA will host a 1500-point, 3-round Mid War tournament restricted to 32 players. Armies may be selected from any published Battlefront Mid War book, or any official .pdfs that may be released beforehand. In the event Battlefront does not release a MW V3 update before this event, all units and rules are to be played as printed in the MW books – unless you or your opponent BOTH agree to do otherwise. Example: Newer guns with the Breakthrough Gun rule. Round 1 will be matched up as Red vs. Blue where possible; further matching and placement will be based on win/loss, with victory points as a tie breaker.
Late War Tournament
This main event will be a 1750 Point, 5-Round Late War tournament restricted to 32 players and take place over 2 days. Rounds 1-3 will take place Saturday, August 31, 2013; the final two rounds will be played on Sunday, September 1, 2012. Round 1 will be matched up as Red vs. Blue where possible; further matching and placement will be based on win/loss, with victory points as a tie breaker.
