We emphasize the peer-to-peer evaluative component of our hobby at the NOVA Open.
One of the best ways you can improve your experience at the NOVA Open is to practice. Each year, we observe that players who complete more NOVA primer/final mission games prior to the actual GT tend to finish games on time, hold better records at the end, and score higher on sportsmanship.
We believe, as with socializing and creativity, you owe it to yourself to put your best foot forward toward the gaming component of the hobby. “Warming up” to the missions using the primer and final packets will help you get started on games more quickly, and enjoy them more thoroughly. The more all players commit to all three components of our hobby, the more common ground we all find within it.
Individual Primers can be found at the website game pages.
